Chalkboard came to us to develop 3 unique 30 sec OTT video ad creatives. We developed a strategy aimed to drive user acquisition while building brand awareness in popular DFS states (CA, TX, GA, etc). As well as educate the key demo (18-35 yr old males in these popular states) about the simplicity of the game and its availability in their location where sportsbooks are not offered.

I first went into storyboarding, working alongside the copywriter. With the sports betting arena becoming more saturated I knew the brand had to stand apart visually. I leaned heavily into the brand colors and unique features. I made sure that the brand green was prominent and redesigned the app UI to be easily digestible and front and center in the design. I kept the canvas clean and introduced the brands textural graphics into the background as supporting elements for the UI visuals. We saw great responses and results across the board and iterated the videos into 15 sec cut downs for both NFL and NBA assets. In total we developed 12 OTT ads for the brand.
